Fierce Queen

Fierce Queen is the second novel in Sadie Kincaid’s L.A. Ruthless series, and it picks up with Alana now fully inside the life that was forced on her in the first book. She is no longer standing at the edge of the Montoya world. She is Alejandro Montoya’s wife, the Queen beside the King of Los Angeles, and that means the danger around their marriage is no longer private or contained. The setup centers on love under pressure, with betrayal, hidden truths, and an approaching war threatening both their bond and their survival.

Readers can expect a dark mafia romance with a more entrenched, high-stakes tone than a simple forced-marriage setup. The setting remains shaped by wealth, criminal power, and loyalty under strain, while the story leans into questions of trust, protection, and what it means to fight for a life that began without choice. Because it is a direct sequel, Fierce Queen works best after Fierce King, since much of its force comes from deepening Alana and Alejandro’s relationship rather than starting from a clean slate.
