Harley Quinn: Redemption (2024)

Harleen Quinzel should be enjoying what passes for peace in Gotham, but Harley Quinn: Redemption starts with her summer plans collapsing into a new crisis. Girls are going missing across the city, and the clues point toward a villain known as the Dollmaker, who seems to want Harley’s attention in particular. That setup gives the book its immediate momentum: a heroine already leaning into chaos now forced to chase something far darker and more personal. As the third book in Rachael Allen’s Harley Quinn trilogy, it picks up after Harleen’s earlier transformation and pushes her further into the space between vigilante, villain, and something harder to define.

What readers can expect is a young adult Gotham story with urgency, bite, and a strong antihero edge. The romance with Poison Ivy remains part of the emotional texture, but the central conflict turns on pursuit, danger, and Harley’s growing willingness to use questionable methods against people who deserve none of her mercy. The tone is fast, rebellious, and sharp, with Gotham once again feeling like a place where justice and menace are never very far apart.
